Course Duration: A two-year intensive research program with specialization in Optometry & Vision Science research
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates for admission to the first semester of M.Optom higher degree programme should have passed the 4- year Bachelor's degree in Optometry conducted by any recognized optometry institution/ University under the regular stream with a minimum of 60%. They shall also satisfy the conditions regarding the age and physical fitness as may be prescribed by the Board of Management of SASTRA and Elite School of Optometry/ Sankara Nethralaya, unit of Medical Research Foundation, from time to time. Candidates will have to appear for an entrance examination (written) and those who secured 60% and above would be eligible for the interview. Entrance and interview will be conducted at Elite School of Optometry, 8; GST road, St. Thomas Mount, Chennai – 600 016.
